Steve & Thomas Hunt from the UK finally finished our latest GBC 56 Mine Quarry and got it fully working. This is what they had to say about it:
All in all, one of the most satisfying builds yet, and probably our favourite of all the 42055 builds. And here it is! It took us a bit longer than planned, mainly due to hunting down stray parts. Disaster struck when we could only find seven buckets! Ebay to the rescue and we soon had some spare buckets on the way – only to find the missing one the day they arrived! It took us several tries to get the two cardan arms synchronised. But once set up perfectly it works reliably and is elegant and fascinating to watch.
Every part of the GBC is now working well. There are a few dropped balls and a couple of spots where a ball can get stranded, so we will try some more tweaks to eliminate those.
Thanks for creating your amazing GBC designs! They really provide us with a lot of entertainment. My son is getting the Liebherr crawler crane for Christmas, but he is much more excited about building the GBC 53 Marble Music Machine!
Wishing a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone at PV Productions!

Thanks Steve and Thomas for sharing this with us. It true makes our day to see our machines everywhere and builders enjoying the journey to create something new from the LEGO that they already have!
