Now you can! With our Filament Light Bulb for LEGO there is no longer an excuse to keep your LEGO stashed away in your workroom.

Plug & Play

This compact and robust Filament Bulb for LEGO is 100% compatible with all LEGO systems. No electronics knowledge is needed and installation is as easy as connecting the USB-A connector from the Filament Light Bulb to any USB power source available. E.g. use a (old?) USB smartphone/tablet charger, the USB port from your computer, TV or any other USB power source. You can also use a USB power bank for your portable lights, like outside table lights or where no wall outlet is available. The USB-A cable exits the Filament Light Bulb on the bottom side. 2 grooves in the casing allow you to route the cable to the left, down or right, whatever looks the best in your design.

Turn the light on by rotating the knob on the back clockwise. This knob will also control the brightness of the light in a single rotation. By rotating it all the way clockwise you can increase the brightness. To dim the light you have to rotate the knob counter clockwise. To turn the light completely off, you have to rotate the knob counter clockwise until you hear a satisfying click.

Now lets cover some geek speak! Our Filament Bulb for LEGO has a stepless dimming system which means you can set the light brightness exactly like you want. This gives you infinite steps and precision, literally! Infinite freedom for the win! Identification points at the front will tell you where the knob is positioned and gives you a good reference where to set it to next time you turn the light on.
At the bottom side of the Filament Light Bulb we have included 6 LEGO Technic connection holes which are really handy when you want incorporate the Filament Light Bulb into your LEGO models. It is all designed to the LEGO dimensions so there are many ways to make it fit neatly into your builds. To be precise it is 3 studs wide, 6 studs long and 5 plates tall.

To gain even more on the flexibility we decided it would be awesome to make the filament light itself flexible so you can create your very own light shape. The filament light itself is thinner then 1 stud which makes it easy to incorporate into your LEGO model. With some bending and twisting you can create many unique variations which best fit your designed light fixture. It even allows to wrap around a circle of 9 cm / 3.5 Inch / 11 studs, like a full circle of the
LEGO 78442 part  Bricklink.com. Neat!

You can even make the light smart by adding a smart wall socket before the USB power source so you can remotely turn on and off the light with your smartphone. Or even schedule/automate it with the included app/software of your smart wall socket. How cool is that!

Required Accessories

To use the Filament Light Bulb for LEGO you need a power source and cable. In many cases you already have these at home from your (old) smartphone/tablet. Actually any USB port will work as a power source, even your smart TV, laptop/pc etc. You get it ;) The accessories below are advised to use together with the Filament Light Bulb for LEGO.
