Workshopaholics!

Sometimes we get the question why we love giving workshops so much. Well… It’s hard to put it into words on paper/screen, but let me try by giving an example.

 

Recently we had the pleasure of giving a STEAM workshop to a group of teachers-to-be, many of whom hardly had any experience with Lego Technic. Although the students didn’t know what to expect, they proved to be very eager builders! During our workshop, all initial awkwardness disappeared and people got really enthusiastic. It’s absolutely great to see how people get absorbed into the workshop and are introduced to the STEAM and SCRUM methods. The best part, though? When people start raving about how they can use the things they have learned in their own practice!

Throwback time! In today’s spotlight: the GBC 16 Inverse Belt Lift! When it comes down to the reason I like this GBC, I guess there’s not much need for second guessing: the Inverse Belt Lift Module. Although the rest of the GBC is quite a plain design, the Inverse Belt Lift is an unique module, carrying the balls upwards up-side down, wicked right?! Next to this, the GBC contains some nice timingsmechanisms. If, however, you prefer a bigger GBC, that’s also a possibility. Just take the module and insert it with other modules to create your own GBC! That’s why I love this GBC, it’s a plain, but unique GBC full of possibilities!

 

A story worth sharing!

Displaying our C Models on exhibition, schools, stores, other public events or even at home is one of the greatest satisfactions there is after you have finished building and fine tuning your model to pitch perfect! The amazed faces and reactions you get from it from friends and family are priceless!

Tips & Tricks Tuesday: No more batteries!

As people start to care more about the environment, we notice that more and more people are reluctant to use batteries any longer.
