GBC 52 Flight Fair in slow motion

Szilard Gyalay from the USA build our latest GBC 52 Flight Fair made from the LEGO 42152 Firefighter Aircraft set. Once setup correctly he made a nice video of it in action and even including an epic slow motion part where you can see the GBC Balls fly. See around minute 00:40. See also his review here below. Thanks for sharing with us!

GBC 52 Flight Fair - 42152 Building Instructions

Szilard Gyalay - December 7, 2023

GBC 52 is a new twist on moving the balls. The catapult mechanism is a new and simple one. I loved the incorporation of the propellers to "propel the balls" so all can yet again line up for being deployed. All in all a solid build, some fine tooling required. Motor speed needs to be experimented with. Because of the lunching mechanism design, used a stronger engine. Simple . low cost and efficient. Our Powered Up Splitter Cable in good use!

Youtuber STEINeZEIT is a huge LEGO train fan and is building a massive train layout through mountains and more. Very cool to see! But how to power the extremely long LEGO trains. The Powered Up system can work but is by default not capable of driving multiple motors on a single hub/remote. Our PU Splitter Cable to the rescue. Now STEINeZEIT can connect 2 train motors to a single port of his hub. Makes it easy to install and control with the LEGO Powered Up Remote. Best of all worlds.

On minute 2:53 you can see our PU Splitter Cable hidden in the cabin. But make sure to check the complete video for more inspiration and info. Tip: use English captions if you do not understand German.

Workshop for our minister of education Mariëlle Paul

Last week, during our Record Blaster workshop, we had the honor of meeting Mariëlle Paul, our minister of education here in the Netherlands. We explained our Steam education approach and how our Record Blaster (Made from LEGO) was used as a tool to educate students about physics, math, programming and more. The delegation was very interested and could see for themselves how this was put into action during a workshop we provided for the HetMartinBuber college.
