Programmable Turntable Workshops with LEGO

Yesterday we had the pleasure of providing our Record Blaster LEGO workshop for a group of 12 year old students at the Het Martin Buber college here in the Netherlands. They learned about the turntable concepts/speeds/physics and by using Pybricks software they could even program the turntable themselves in Python. Learning about the encoders from a motor to gain a steady speed and more. An amazing day!

A good old GBC

A good old GBC which is still running strong, even during LEGO World 2023 this year. Of course we are talking about our GBC 13 Extended Belt Lift made from the LEGO 42042 Crawler Crane set. Jorian Doornenbal from the Netherlands made this nice video of it even featuring our GBC Glow in the Dark Balls.

We use it very often in display as it makes the GBC layouts very flexible. Have you also build this classic GBC module yourself?

LEGO World 2023 aftermath – A full layout video

Maico Arts made a nice video of the complete GBC layout which was being displayed during LEGO World 2023. 8 hours a day, 7 days in a row these wonderful GBC modules where transporting the GBC Balls around and pushing LEGO to its limits. At minute 2:07 our modules can be seen and you can follow the blue ball entering our GBC 12 Pinball Wizard. Can you name all of our modules we brought to the show?

GBC Workshops at HetMartinBuber College

Last Saturday we had the tremendous joy of providing one of our workshops at the HetMartinBuber college here in the Netherlands. 10-12 year old students got their hands on our GBC 44 Scoop Loupe and GBC 21 Mine Factory and worked together to bring the machines alive. There even was a smart Spirograph which could be programmed and could draw amazing art pieces.

Hard to keep track

Bennie te Veluwe from the Netherlands did a great job building, programming and filming our GBC 45 Stunt Circus from the LEGO 42100 Liebherr R 9800 set.
Always so much going on in this GBC, it is hard to keep track on were the GBC Balls are going.
Thanks for sharing with us Bennie. We appreciate it! Share your creation as well via our upload page.
