Fun Fact Friday – GBC 37 Ratchet Ride

As a company, we would like to get you involved in the process of developing our different GBCs and provide you with all ins and outs of the models. Therefore, we came up with a new concept: Fun Fact Friday! From now on you will be able to read these facts (some of which are already to be found on the productpage) every now and then in our newsposts and on social media. Enjoy!

Fun fact – GBC 37 Ratchet Ride: We knew from the beginning that a GBC module from the LEGO set 42097 was gonna be very unique and would bring us many challenges. As you may notice on the part list of the LEGO 42097, there are no driving sprockets included to drive the conveyor belt. So the main focus quickly became to figure out how to drive the conveyor belt in an elegant and efficient way. The Ratchet Mechanism seemed to be the perfect choice!

Throwback Thursday – GBC 12 Pinball Wizard

Another Thursday, another Throwback!

Today’s Throwback: the GBC 12 Pinball Wizard! What’s so special about this Throwback (apart from it being a double Throwback, both to the GBC and to the computer game I spent too many hours playing…) is that this GBC leaves a lot up to the builder. Where do you want to place a spin? You name it! What shape do you want to make a spin? You create it!

Next to the design, this GBC contains some brilliant techniques changing the slope of the pinball ramp, pumping the GBC balls up into the air, altering the direction the balls are bounced onto the ramp, etc.!

Would you like to build your own Pinball and relive the good old days?
