Throwback Thursday Time

This year LEGO has again released a brand new Technic Helicopter (Set 42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter) which we are eager to get our hands on.
But do you still remember our previous helicopter we converted into a GBC? Yes, the GBC 17 Wing Lift is already 6 year old but we still love the elegant movement it brings to the table. The synchronized wings lift the GBC Balls up on every rotation of the main driving axle. All powered with the motor which comes in the LEGO set 42052 Heavy Lift Helicopter. If we are not mistaken the special wing blades were introduced in this LEGO set 42052 and are not often used as they are quite task specific. This however doesn’t stop us to think outside the box and use them in a complete unorthodox way…

Also, I love the music in this one! Do you perhaps recognize it from somewhere? ;)

So much positive feedback. Thank you!

Pete Dubois surely blew our minds away. In record times we already received some of the best fan builds back of our latest GBC and it makes our day. It seems this set is very popular and you really like the GBC design we have come up with. Thank you!

We are of course talking about the alternate build of the LEGO 42128 Heavy-duty Tow Truck, GBC 50 Tow Lift, which we recently released as an early adopter.
Pete used a LEGO Powered Up L motor in combination with the official LEGO Powered Up App as shown in the video. The program is also described in our building instructions which makes it a great set for newbies in the LEGO Powered Up software system.

Together with the GBC Funnel XL L and the xylophone keys it really makes a great show to watch in action.

Have you also build one of our models yourself?
