Who has not dreamed of it to create music themselves? It is with playing an instrument or mixing tunes together on a computer. Now you can do both at the same time with our Turntable Twister! The Turntable Twister allows you to play your favorite LP records and singles back again. So time to hit the attic, thrift store or flea market to find your LP Records and bring up some good memories ;)

This Turntable is entirely built using only parts from the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Sets and can be referred to as model C of the 31313 Home Edition or the 45544 Education Edition.

Bring your scratching skills to a whole new level!

You can control the speed, lower and lift the Turntable Needle, start and stop the turntable and more. Or do it all automatically. Moving the needle arm slightly to the right will start the turntable (Touch sensor will be pressed). Then you can position the needle above the desired track and use the down key on the EV3 brick to lower the needle automatically. To pause or stop the track you can press the up key on the EV3 brick which will automatically lift the needle. You can now re-position the needle above another track or place it back in the rest holder. You can also continue where you left of the track by pressing the down key on the EV3 brick again. When the LP records comes to an end the needle will lift automatically and stop the turntable (Light sensor will detect the final end position of the needle arm). By using the turning knob on the right side you can control the speed of the turntable and adjust the pitch the playing track. Batteries can easily be replaced.

The default program for the EV3 acts as an advanced turntable with multiple functions combined. The full program flow, with much more detail, is explained in the program it self. Understand our code and start playing yourself by adjusting variables, enabling/disabling functions and eventually come up with your very own awesome rocking code!
