LEGO used to make great Power Functions to 9V System adapter cables. However since the introduction of the newer systems, this cable is no longer available. Not long after we got requests if we were able to make a replacement cable, and so we did.

Our Power Functions to 9V System Adapter converts the LEGO Power Functions system to the LEGO 9V System and vice versa! The adapter cable goes both ways!
Connect your LEGO 9V System motors/lights to the LEGO Power Functions system or
connect your LEGO Power Functions motors/lights to the LEGO 9V System battery boxes/controllers.
Everything is possible!

Plug & Play

We have developed a compact and robust Power Functions to 9V System Adapter (size of a 2×2 brick) which is 100% compatible with all the LEGO Power Functions and LEGO 9V System motors/lights. No electronics knowledge is needed and installation is as easy as connecting the power connector to the compatible LEGO power system. Plug the LEGO motor/light into the adapter and you are ready to go. You can control direction and speed by using the LEGO Battery Box, a LEGO switch, a LEGO IR Receiver or any other LEGO power system. Simple and reliable.
The adapter cable can for example be used with the beloved LEGO Train Speed Regulator, LEGO Mindstorms RCX  and many more old school LEGO electronics. Give them another life and make them compatible again with your newer LEGO electronics.
