We have developed a smart EV3/NXT to Powered Up Adapter which is 100% compatible with all the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and NXT and all the Powered Up (train)motors and lights from LEGO Boost, LEGO WeDo, LEGO Spike, LEGO Control+ and more.

No electronics knowledge is needed and installation is as easy as connecting the power connector to the compatible LEGO power system. Connect a LEGO Powered Up (train)motor and light to the adapter and you are ready to go. A big advantage is the ability to use the different sized motors to a single Mindstorms EV3/NXT port. You can control direction, power and speed by using the default LEGO Mindstorms motor blocks in software.

Depending on the type your choose, the programmable interfaces on mobile devices and Powered Up remote control will detect the adapter as a train motor or normal motor. You can always program and speed control the motor with the official LEGO Powered Up app (or third party applications) without any limitation!
